What if I told you that everyone is watching our movement right now? The media, political pundits, and potential challengers are all watching to see if we reach our first fundraising goal this election year. It’s critical we send a loud message about the power of our people-first, progressive movement and set our momentum for the rest of the year.

What if I told you that in 2020 Cori only won her race by three points? Less than 5,000 voters made the difference in that race so we can’t take anything for granted this time around. Hitting this goal is critical to making sure we have the funds to organize and reach out to voters leading up to Election Day.

And what if I told you that our campaign doesn’t accept a single cent from corporate PACs or special interests? We’re proud to be a people-powered campaign — hence why our average donation is only $21.42.

I hope you understand now how much we’re counting on your support. Will you chip in $5 or anything you can afford to give to help us reach our first important fundraising goal this year? 

To be honest with you, it’s going to take all of us to win this upcoming midterm election.

Corporate special interests are going to keep coming after us. They’ll say we don’t deserve a seat at the table. Fox News will spew any racist attack to smear our movement. They’ll say we’re too radical. And they’ll say all of this simply because they can’t stand that we’re leading with love.

We need to be ready. That’s why it’s especially important we start this year strong and hit our January fundraising goal. Right now we’re only $3,750 short from hitting our $25,000 goal.

Even giving $5 makes a huge difference as we prepare for this competitive election season and make sure we have the organizing power we need to keep Cori in Congress.
