Joe Biden’s Build Back Better Act started out as a $3.5 trillion resolution that would deliver meaningful action on housing, health care, climate change, childcare, and so much more.
But because of resistance from conservative Democrats like Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema – a number of the proposed policies in this resolution continue to be at risk of being cut.
Cori and her progressive colleagues refuse to back down. We refuse to let the influence of Big Pharma and the fossil fuel industry obstruct our chance at delivering urgently needed investment for our communities.
We need solutions that match the historic, urgent crises regular, everyday people in America face right now.

Here in St. Louis we know that Congress only delivering *crumbs* is the reason why our communities have been struggling for years. It’s why families are struggling to keep their homes, children are going to bed hungry, and why folks are going bankrupt because they can’t afford their health care bills.
Time is running out before Congress votes on the final provisions in the Build Back Better Act. It’s urgent we rush whatever support we can right now for Cori.
