Today’s Action: Tell your representative to pass the Build Back Better Act!
The House Budget Committee has approved the Build Back Better Act for a House vote, and we need all hands on deck to demand our representatives pass the transformational legislation.
Without the Build Back Better Act, dreamers would be subject to deportation, threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands of residents who are American in every meaningful way. Working families would miss out on a permanent expanded child tax credit and access to universal education. One of the biggest global powers — and one of the top polluters — could miss out on a crucial opportunity to significantly reduce emissions and move to a greener energy grid.
Call (202-224-3121) or write your representative in the House this morning and tell them the Build Back Better Act can’t wait, and remind them of the stakes in not fighting for its passage!
It can’t be said enough that this isn’t just spending as usual, as Republicans allege. This is transformational investment in the sustainability of our country, and it can’t wait any longer.
Elected officials have a responsibility to deliver a full, expansive social infrastructure bill to improve the lives of Americans. The Build Back Better Act is their opportunity, and we need to flood their inboxes to make sure they seize the moment.
Dreamers deserve permanent residence, the youth of the planet deserve a sustainable environment, and working families deserve unwavering support. It’s time to deliver.
Call (202-224-3121) or write your representative to remind them America’s future depends on their commitment to the passage of the Build Back Better Act!
PS — Please don't forget to sign the petition to investigate Matt Gaetz for sex trafficking and statutory rape, and be sure to follow OD Action on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
