Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) just announced he's running for reelection. I fully intend to defeat him and flip Iowa blue – but I need you with me. Here's the latest:

First, the momentum is on our side. Nearly two-thirds of Iowa voters don't want to reelect Sen. Grassley, which means we have a unique opportunity and advantage that we must harness to flip this Senate seat blue.

But defeating Sen. Grassley – in what the Des Moines Register is calling a "marquee matchup" – will come down to resources, and in the span of a few months, the campaign arm of the Senate Republicans hauled in $28 million. They are well equipped to protect vulnerable incumbents like Sen. Grassley and attack competitive challengers like me.

So right now, ahead of our very first public FEC reporting deadline, my team and I need to raise another $25,000 to keep pace with our fundraising. This is a grassroots campaign, and hitting these goals and building up resources is how we will flip Iowa blue. I fully intend to win this race, and if we defeat Sen.
