Don’t be fooled by those who want to rewrite history & conveniently place all the blame on Biden. Rep Colin Alfred shared a brief segment of an interview he did with Sec. Pompeo on Afghanistan during a Foreign Affairs Hearing in 2019.
Sec. Pompeo laughed in his face when he expressed concern about EXACTLY what is happening with the American pull out. EXACTLY!
At every stage, Pompeo aided the Taliban and sabotaged the Kabul government. And now he and the GOP dare to blame Biden. (And yes, we know that the Biden administration misjudged how quickly the government would fall but the onus of blame for what is happening in Afghanistan falls on Trump & Pompeo.)
